A Few Minutes With…

Mike & Nancy Sodano
Michael Sodano and Nancy Sabino, born and raised in NJ, have been immersed in media production since the ‘70s and gravitate to stories of small groups of people accomplishing incredible feats through passion and commitment.
Their first feature-length documentary Greetings From The Parking Lot, profiles the fans tailgating during the historic 15 night reunion concert of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Their follow-up documentary, Rock and a Heart Place, was an award-winning film showcasing a local NJ charity, Holiday Express, and the populations aided by their efforts The film highlights the small efforts of determined and dedicated individuals who follow a passion, give and get big emotional pay-offs and the satisfaction of time well spent. In both documentaries, the labor of a few produce a life-altering result, unexpected and rewarding.
For the past 12 years, Mike and Nancy brought film back to Asbury Park, where they owned and operated the arthouse ShowRoom Cinemas. Currently they’re ready to embrace a new project: Born to Archive and use their skills to weave a new tapestry of visual storytelling.
