The public comments section was opened and closed without comment.

The Board members were asked to take an ethics pledge. In past boards, the ethics requirements prevented board members from voting on issues directly impacting their households, for example, decisions about leadership at the school district and voting on the terms of employment contracts when members of the board member’s household worked at the school district. Currently, newly elected Board Member Brittney Ramos’s husband works as a teacher’s aide in the district.
