Michael Cook (Cookie) is a Contributing Writer for WERRRK.com and the Philadelphia Gay News among other publications. He has interviewed celebrities like Joan Rivers, Kristin Chenoweth, RuPaul, & Paris Hilton and conducts interviews with RuPaul’s Drag Racecompetitors across the globe. He also is the LGBTQ Consultant for the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City NJ and produces events under the Ocean Pride brand. He has also recently launched his own event brand, Pork Roll Egg & Queens, producing sold-out events statewide, featuring several former Miss Paradise titleholders.

Part of the community for over two decades, Michael maintains a passion for the community & continues to celebrate the LGBTQ history of Asbury Park & was recently part of a community the LGBTQ history of Asbury Park. Whether it’s community members, beloved locations, or current trends, Michael will be celebrating Asbury Park & the vibrant hues that make up our community in the pages of Asbury Riprap.
